Job Application - Delivery Solution Architect

Dexi is looking for a positive and proactive Delivery Solution Architect to join our low-ego, highly collaborative team in Tirana.

The Dexi Solutions Architect (SA) transforms customer needs into effective solution designs for Dexi data projects. A technical leader and subject matter expert, the SA collaborates with multiple teams to ensure timely and on-spec success throughout the customer life cycle – from POC and onboarding to operational support.

What you’ll do

As a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, technical know-how, and a desire to go where the data leads, you’ll:

Partner with the sales, delivery, and engineering teams to provide technical leadership on projects from the concept phase to service life cycle
Collaborate with the Delivery Program Managers and project managers during technical planning & requirements gathering phases including estimate, test, onboarding, and support phases
Align customer needs with Dexi solutions and delivery processes
Demonstrate a meticulous attention to detail and maintain thorough documentation including change requests
Parse complex, ambiguous datasets into clear data models
Leverage frameworks for connecting each domain’s data into a complete picture
Create visualizations to help users understand the available data
Synthesize large, unstructured data into clear and broadly usable datasets
Design and document solution architecture to serve customer needs and subsequent support phases
Contribute to capacity planning to properly scale, maintain and troubleshoot a production environment in a high volume, mission critical production resource
Play a key role in projects from a data engineering perspective, working with key stakeholders to model future evolutions of Dexi products and services
Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences, describing appropriate business benefits and outcomes

What you’ll need

Technical fluency is an absolute requirement for this position. Hands-on experience in a technical role e.g. as a Software Developer, Database, System. Candidates lacking hands-on technical experience (e.g. Software Development, Database, System) won’t be considered.

BS/MS (or equivalent experience) in CS, Data Engineering, and/or Data Science
Minimum 3-5 year professional experience using at least three of the following in a work setting: JavaScript, Python/Pandas, SQL, XPath/CSS Selectors, or Regex
Experience leading and managing complex projects in data related contexts
Proven analytical, problem solving and design skills
The ability to understand, visualize, and componentize large and complex problems
Experience with large data platforms and multiple applications
Experience with customer-facing projects, including working in close-knit teams
The energy and enthusiasm to work on multiple fast-moving projects in a dynamic and diverse environment
Outstanding written and verbal communication, supported by excellent interpersonal skills
Knowledge of data architecture modeling tools, techniques and processes, and an awareness of relevant industry techniques
The skill to effectively prioritize multiple work assignments, and act with autonomy or under general direction
Extensive knowledge of data warehousing designs, conceptual and logical data models, data visualization, and flowcharts

Bonus points

Experience with Dexi, Mozenda, Import.io, or other web scraping technologies (e.g. Scrapy, Zyte, and Beautiful Soup)
Familiarity with the online retail & digital commerce landscape
Experience working with remote teams in different time zones
